As of July 1, 2023, the State of Michigan will be enforcing the building code in Baraga Township for all new permits issued. Before a building permit is issued by the State, the property owner must apply for a Zoning Compliance Permit from the Township of Baraga to ensure the project complies with the Zoning Ordinance of Baraga Township.
